Walter Bristo, started the Bristo's company as a horse and carriage taxi firm in Ipswich in 1910. It began trading in motor vehicles in 1932 with the Vauxhall/Bedford agency.Harry Head, bought the business in 1966 and Bristos gained the Toyota franchise in the 70's. Bristos has expanded significantly to welcome the prestigious Renault franchise and more recently Skoda.
